As a top wholesale IP provider globally, our network has received many international recognitions, including Best Global Wholesale Carrier, Best North American Wholesale Carrier and Wholesale Operator of the Year, among others.Your day at NTT DATAThe Account Consultant (AC) is part of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit and is responsible to meet and exceed monthly sales quota from the sale of high bandwidth IP transit services together with associated value-added services (including security services), to Internet-centric companies, both domestically and internationally, while minimizing customer churn and price erosion through active account management of an assigned customer base.This is a hybrid role requiring ability to work on-site 3x/wk at the Redmond, WA, USA office.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing a list of assigned existing accounts.Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to planIdentify competitive pricing solutions for customers.Assist with new product rollout and make sales presentations on new product lines to customersPerforms myriad of task as required/and or assigned.Flexibility to perform duties outside the standard 8am-5pm US time zonesAbility to travel as needed, approximately 25%Education/Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Work Experience RequiredMinimum (2) years of telecommunications sales, high tech sales or related experience.Proven track record of success in managing a module of accounts in a high tech (or related) field.Skills and Core CompetenciesAbility to work successfully in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment with commitments to deadlines.Self-motivated and possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skillsOrganizational RelationshipsAbility to communicate, both internally and externally, in an effective, professional and courteous manner.Working Conditions:Working conditions will be hybrid – a blend of remote working and on-site (3x/wk) to the Redmond, WA, USA office.NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is 57,000-81,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
