Employment Type Part-time Requirements Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Qualifications: • Open to entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Description Key Responsibilities: • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques • Take and process dental X-rays (if certified) • Provide chairside support and comfort to patients during procedures • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care • Maintain accurate patient records and charting • Perform basic front-desk duties as needed, such as scheduling and confirming appointments • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operatory and clinical areas • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Benefits: • Dental Insurance • Paid Time Off (PTO) Jobley Bonus: $45 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Schedule: • Monday–Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM • Thursday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM About the Practice Name: Sunshine Smile of Nutley Location: 187 chestnut street, Nutley, NJ 07110
