As a Service Appointment Representative, you'll work with existing Groundworks customers to schedule return inspections for systems we've previously installed. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you'll answer inbound calls and make warm outbound follow-up calls. There is no cold calling. You'll build relationships with homeowners, understand their needs, communicate the value of ongoing service, and help ensure they receive the continued support their Groundworks system requires.

This isn't simply a role where you answer phones and schedule appointments. You'll be responsible for creating a positive customer experience while meeting appointment and performance goals. Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make warm outbound follow-up calls to existing Groundworks customers.
• Schedule return inspections and service appointments for previously installed Groundworks systems.
• Build rapport with homeowners and deliver a professional, positive customer experience on every interaction.
• Educate customers on Groundworks services and the importance of maintaining their existing systems.
• Identify customer needs and confidently communicate the value of recommended services and appointments.
• Meet individual and team appointment, performance, and customer experience goals.
• Accurately document customer information, call activity, appointment details, and follow-up in company systems.
• Navigate multiple computer systems while actively engaging with customers.
• Adapt quickly to changes in business priorities, processes, and strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service, retail, call center, sales, or other customer-facing experience is required.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Positive, motivated, and competitive mindset with a desire to achieve goals.
• Comfortable having sales-oriented conversations and confidently asking customers to schedule appointments.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute or higher.
• Reliable, coachable, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer information.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being accountable for individual performance.

Working Conditions

• Base pay ($16.00/h) plus uncapped commission, with representatives typically earning $22–$25/hour.
• Full-time, 40-hour per week onsite position at Groundworks Corporate Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA.
• Every other weekend required as part of the regular schedule.
• Fast-paced office/call center environment with moderate noise levels.
• Requires frequent talking and listening, as well as the ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, and visually review customer information, schedules, and documents.
