Your ideas matter. You matter. We offer four shifts per week: Day (6 am–2:30 pm) and Mid (2 pm–10:30 pm). This role entails working at both Pathlight and ERC sites, floating between Bellevue and Seattle, WA. Behavioral Health Technician The Behavioral Health Technician works under the supervision of the nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients by providing patient supervision and support. The BHT provides support, structure, and boundaries, contributes to therapeutic programming, and may participate in on‑call shifts as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities Maintain daily program structure by following the schedule Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by the physician Work with patients on de‑escalation and coping skills per treatment plan Conduct room and luggage searches Takes patients out on fresh air breaks Provide patient transportation for medical appointments as needed Take patient vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity as required Act as secondary support staff in group therapy as needed Provide meal support and bathroom monitoring Complete documentation of observations, meals, and individual check‑ins during shift Assist with morning routine and activities of daily living while patients are in spa/bathroom Requirements (BHT I & BHT II) High school diploma or GED (required for both levels) BHT I: 6 months of direct patient care experience (preferred) BHT II: 1 year of direct patient care experience (required) Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (required for locations with company vehicles) Minimum of 1 year ERC milieu experience (required for internal teammates only, BHT II) Compensation Washington Pay Range: $22.32 – $25.58 per hour, based on candidate experience and market expectations.
