You’ll work directly with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to ensure safe and sustainable vegetation management practices. Responsibilities:  Assign daily work digitally to line clearance contractors using designated workflow and asset management software. Participate in a rotating call schedule to support emergency response needs. Dispatch crews during 24-hour on call shifts for storm events, emergencies, and unplanned outages. Troubleshoot and resolve customer and contractor questions related to vegetation management activities. Conduct field inspections in response to customer inquiries and vegetation related outage investigations. Update and maintain performance tracking systems and reporting tools required by the client. Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections to ensure Vegetation Management program objectives are met. Manage and monitor service tickets and track the status and progress of line clearance crews. Conduct tree and brush inventories to support work planning and operational needs. Perform hazard tree assessments and document findings for mitigation planning. Manage and verify data related to vegetation management activities and field operations. Ensure the safety of employees and the public by identifying and mitigating hazards in and around the work area. Enforce safe work practices and compliance with company and industry safety standards. Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials required at the job site. Perform routine servicing of trucks and equipment, ensuring all assigned assets are kept clean, organized, and in good working order. Carry out additional duties as assigned to support departmental and operational needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field; equivalent experience in utility line clearance operations will also be considered. Strong ability to identify tree species, recognize invasive vegetation, and understand tree growth characteristics. ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification within six months of hire. Primarily office based and remote work, with occasional field visits as operational needs arise. Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to travel, work outdoors, and operate safely in rugged terrain and adverse weather conditions. Proficiency in map reading and navigation. Experience with Microsoft Office and digital data collection tools; GIS experience is a plus.
