Special Agent – Federal Bureau of Investigation Base Pay Range : $97,300.00/yr – $125,544.00/yr (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Salary commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay. Job Description As an FBI special agent, you will directly impact national security by investigating civil and criminal threats, including cyberattacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats. Key Duties Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety. Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law‑enforcement agencies. Maintain physical fitness required to perform law‑enforcement duties. Key Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. Must obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance. Must be willing to travel as required. Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements. Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
