Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Nashville, TN. This role involves working in a dynamic hospital setting with a youthful team on the 12 Tower unit, where patient ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:5.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Perform basic patient assessments, and provide care and maintenance for wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, and chest tubes
• Manage patients with conditions such as strokes and seizures; administer Heparin drips when required
• Handle post-operative care for procedures including amputations, oral surgeries, and use of wound vacs
• Collaborate with a supportive team, maintaining communication and responsiveness with patients
• Ensure compliance with documentation using Meditech system

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in Med Surg and handling post-operative procedures
