Job Title:Manager, Costing - UGG FootwearReports to:Sr. Manager, Costing - UGG FootwearLocation: Goleta, CA (Hybrid)Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday – ThursdayThe RoleAs Costing Manager for UGG Footwear, you play a critical role in ensuring brand profitability and margin expectations are met. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage the product costing process from concept to final samples, and negotiate with partner factories and suppliers to achieve seasonal margin targets. We believe that when we bring our different perspectives to work, we are truly Better Together.Your ImpactLead cross-functional teams to ensure brand profitability and margin expectations are metManage product costing process and business margin planning from brief stage to final salesman samplesNegotiate with partner factories and suppliers to meet seasonal brand target margin using manufacturing and product knowledgePerform financial analysis and scenario planning for cross-functional teams to drive decisions and increase profitabilityPartner with Development team to build and manage seasonal tooling budgetBuild seasonal pre-costing for Development and Product teams to ensure new product development is commercialCreate costing reports, providing visibility to Product and Development leadership on cost estimates, margin, sourcing, and trade agreementsBuild costing awareness across teams by training partners on cost drivers, margin impact, costing tools, and seasonal decision pointsManage, mentor, coach, and develop Costing Analysts or related team membersWho You AreBachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis on Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field5+ years of product costing experience in footwearStrong Excel & Microsoft Office skillsExperience with FlexPLM or similar systemIn-depth knowledge of product construction and manufacturingUnderstanding of product costing with ability to mentor junior team membersStrategic thinker and creative problem solver who proactively researches and drives collective resolutionAbility to lead projects from beginning to implementationMaintains a high level of integrity, remains flexible, is results-oriented, and works productively within a matrix organizationComfortable working in an environment of ambiguityWhat We'll Give YouCompetitive Pay and Bonuses - We’ve created a variety of competitive compensation programs to foster career development, reward success and to show our employees just how much they’re valued.Financial Planning and wellbeing - No matter what financial goals our employees have set, we want to help them get there.
