Gas and Chemical Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas and Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Gas Operations department supporting the EMD Electronics services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas and Chemical Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $21.68

Shift: Day shift (Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday)

What's the Job?

• Operate and maintain chemical and gas distribution systems safely and efficiently
• Handle and change-out gas, chemical, and slurry containers
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative/repair maintenance on gas and chemical equipment
• Support computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
• Assist in supporting quality systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technical skills
