About the Position

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with Tuesday start dates
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (3 shifts) with potential to pick up a 4th shift per week
• 48 guaranteed hours not available
• NICU experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Required skills: ICU experience, NICU experience, ED experience, ability to draw ABGs, BLS certification
• Required certification: RRT
• Preferred skills: Experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat
• Procedures performed on unit include: ABGs, assist with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Experience with all age ranges of patients required
• Good customer service skills required
• Dress code: Black scrubs required (employee purchase required)
• Nail policy: Clean and healthy nails only; no artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
