Shift/Schedule:
12 Hour Shift (Days)
6am-6pm, Overtime as required
Rotating Shift 3-2-2 (Work every other Fri, Sat & Sun)
Example:
Work: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Off: Monday & Tuesday
Work: Wednesday & Thursday
Off: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Work: Monday & Tuesday

We are hiring Grinder Operators tbecome an integral part of our production team in Washington, MO. Grinder Operators play a vital role in our plant operations by operating grinding machinery that shapes and finishes titanium sheets tprecise customer specifications.
Nprior experience working with titanium metals or machinery Nproblem - this entry-level role offers you hands-on training! This role thrives on problem solvers whcommunicate clearly and collaborate well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
With the assistance of roller tables, physically lift, move, and flip titanium sheets intand out of the grinder tool, which cuts and finishes the metal
Visually inspect sheet surfaces for imperfections and use grinding tool tremove defects
Utilize a micrometer and thickness gauge (vidigauge) tcheck the thickness of titanium sheets
Perform minor grinder maintenance and periodic cleaning of grinder equipment
Complete setup of machines, install large grinder belts, and monitor equipment during operation for errors

Basic Qualifications:
Ability tnavigate and perform basic computer operations
Ability tread and comprehend written materials such as production orders, SOPs, safety instructions, etc.
Possess basic knowledge of math, math equations, and the ability tproperly utilize various measuring instruments
Ability tstand, walk, and perform manual tasks needed tproperly handle materials
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close/distance vision, depth perception, and the ability tadjust visual focus
