Contract Duration: 26-52 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support services within a correctional healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, documentation, and daily care activities while maintaining a safe and professional healthcare environment.

Requirements:

Active New York State CNA Certification required
Current registration in New York State required
Experience in medical-surgical, ambulatory care, correctional healthcare, or mental health preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care activities and daily living needs
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
Support healthcare staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Assist with health screenings and basic clinical tasks
Respond appropriately during medical emergencies
Follow established healthcare, safety, and security protocols
