Make a lasting impact by supporting young learners in a Special Education Pre-K classroom. In this full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week), you’ll work with children ages 3–5 who have diverse needs, some of whom are non-verbal or exhibit behavioral challenges. Your ability to create a nurturing, structured environment will be essential as you help these students reach developmental milestones in Rossville, GA.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Possess a valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with both Special and General Education Endorsements, including coverage for Pre-K age groups
• Proven experience as a Special Education teacher, preferably within early childhood or Pre-K settings
• Understanding of best practices for working with students with significant developmental and communication needs
• Familiarity with supporting students who require toileting/diapering assistance and feeding support
• Effective classroom management skills and adaptability, especially when working with students displaying behaviors or limited communication

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction for Pre-K students with a range of developmental and learning differences
• Implement IEPs and monitor progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to ensure smooth routines, including assisting with toilet training and feeding
• Communicate regularly with families and related service providers
• Build a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and learning for each child
