What We Offer $90K–$130K salary based on experience Cell phone reimbursement – bring your own device Mileage reimbursement for patient visits Full benefits: health, dental, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays Schedule consistency – work 7 days, then enjoy 7 days off Close-knit, supportive leadership team with hospice expertise Your Role – What You’ll Do Be fully responsible for on-call coverage during your 7 days on (nights, days, weekends) Respond to urgent patient needs including pain, symptom management, and crisis situations Provide telephonic support to families and caregivers with empathy and clarity Conduct in-home visits as needed across our 21-county service area Coordinate with the IDG to ensure appropriate follow-up and care planning Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record Qualifications – What You Bring Current MN Registered Nurse license Previous hospice, oncology, or palliative care experience required Clinical confidence to triage and respond to a wide range of scenarios Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to self-manage a demanding on-call schedule with professionalism Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and comfort driving to homes throughout the metro Personal cell phone for work communication ( device not provided; reimbursement available ) Why This Role is Special True ownership of care – you’re the go-to clinician for your patients during your week Built-in work/life balance – 7 days on, followed by 7 full days off High-impact nursing – provide urgent, compassionate care when it matters most Military/Veteran Nurses Encouraged to Apply We welcome RNs with military backgrounds (MOC: 46AX, 66N, 66C, MED) to bring their training and values into this meaningful role.
