Location DPSC - St. Louis, MO Job Summary Job Code: 60014085 Job Title: Trainer & Dealer Manager Reports to: Regional Director Power Center Operations Position Summary The Trainer and Dealer Manager will administer DEUTZ programs and policies professionally and proactively (trains personnel, handles warranty claims, and drives dealer development activities). The role ensures a quality infrastructure of DPCs, OEMs, Master Dealers, and Dealers to sell and support DEUTZ products (engines & parts). The ideal candidate encourages DPCs, Master Dealers, Dealers, and OEMs to represent DEUTZ products excellently and possesses a professional background and experience. The Trainer & Dealer Manager is dedicated to achieving operational excellence with a genuine interest in helping DEUTZ succeed and grow. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Represent DEUTZ products. Serve as the service operations liaison between DEUTZ Corp, DPCs, OEMs, and dealers in the assigned A.O.R. Work with the DPC Branch Manager to initiate and encourage Service Dealer sign‑up, set‑up, evaluation, and approval. Liaise with DPC Management to ensure warranty‑related issues are properly managed (documentation, prompt inspection of failed parts and engines, failure reports), including negotiations on product‑related matters such as goodwill, retrofits, updates, and campaigns. Report field activities and gather ideas to improve DEUTZ products and policies. Train and assist in technical training for personnel at DPCs, OEMs, Master Dealers, Dealers, rental companies, and end users. Handle all administrative tasks (call reports, itineraries, expense reports, budgets, forecasts, and other requests). Pursue ongoing knowledge of DEUTZ’s business, products, markets, and customers. Possess professional product knowledge and financial fundamentals. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Qualifications Strong multitasking skills, managing a territory and handling multiple tasks efficiently. Logical problem‑solving skills, identifying and offering systematic approaches to complex problems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, consulting and communicating clearly and concisely with team members, project sponsors, and stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration while guiding and motivating team members to achieve goals. Supervisory Responsibility Individual Contributor Travel Requirements Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 50% or more, depending on business needs. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience. Excellent verbal and presentation‑based communication skills. Self‑starter with a desire for both business and personal growth. Computer skills (working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, etc.). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle. Ability and willingness to travel. Preferred Requirements Sales experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Involves extensive travel by commercial airlines and driving. Requires visits to shops and exposure to running diesel engines and equipment. Exposure to diesel fuel, lubricants, and antifreeze agents.
