Sr. HR Business Manager, Gulf South Lumber

• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting multiple locations and personnel over a diverse multi-state or provincial region is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field required.
• Strong leadership business partnership influencing and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced multi-site environment and balance strategic priorities with execution.
• UKG and PeopleSoft experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Must reside within driving distance of a supported mill

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program and we are targeting a salary range of $131000-$196700 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced strategic HR leader to join our team. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional who wants to lead a team partner closely with business leaders and apply HR and business expertise to build a strong culture develop a winning team and lead meaningful change.
As Senior HR Business Manager you will provide strategic guidance on organizational priorities and people solutions that accelerate business performance and effectiveness. You will lead a team of five HR Business Partners supporting lumber manufacturing facilities across Louisiana Mississippi and Alabama. This is a home based position with up to 50% travel. You must be within driving distance of one of the lumber mills you will be supporting. This role reports to the Senior HR Director Lumber.

What Youll Do

• Lead coach and develop a team of five HR Business Partners.

• Serve as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to business leaders.

• Develop people strategies that strengthen engagement workforce capability retention and organizational effectiveness.

• Lead key HR initiatives including talent and performance management succession planning recruiting employee development change management compensation planning compliance and employee relations.

• Use data and analytics to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Partner across HR to deliver practical solutions that meet business needs.

• Support compliance with company policies safety standards employment laws and requirements affecting unionized workplaces.
