Neonatal Nurse Practitioner OpportunityWe are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our progressive, growing neonatal practice at Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.ResponsibilitiesWe have a team approach toward care in this 100-bed, Level-IV NICUAverage daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annuallyNeonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house careWe provide a challenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency (both HFJV and HFOV) ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body coolingOur team works in close collaboration with a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists, including pediatric surgery, in a suburban Children's Hospital environmentWe have been long time members of the Vermont-Oxford network and our VON team maintains continuous involvement in QI initiativesWe also provide neonatal services at two nearby Level-II NICUs with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from homeSt. Louis is a cosmopolitan city, offering a multitude of recreational opportunities -- from major league sports teams to spectacular parks and golf courses to beautiful hiking and canoeing nearby.
