Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,919–$3,043 per week Contract length: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week Start date: September 13, 2026 Setting: Hospital travel assignment in interventional radiology Onboarding: Orientation and credentialing requirements (Mon–Tue onboarding; nursing orientation Wed–Fri bi-weekly) Responsibilities Scrub for interventional radiology procedures and assist with patient prep, positioning, and sterile technique. Operate imaging equipment as directed, ensure image quality, and enforce radiation safety protocols. Monitor patients during procedures, document vital signs, and respond to immediate clinical needs or contrast reactions. Support procedural workflow, prepare and exchange instruments, and collaborate with the IR team and nursing staff. Assist with post-procedure care and documentation in the medical record; coordinate with care teams for patient transport as needed. Adhere to department policies, safety guidelines, and patient privacy regulations. Requirements Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Radiography certification (required in hand) and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered; may start with KS lic pending). AHA BLS required. Experience: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience with scrub experience required; 3 years IR experience and large-hospital experience with peripheral and neurovascular cases preferred. Skills: Proficiency with IR imaging equipment and sterile technique; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; comfort with varying case types including peripheral and neurovascular. Other: On-call as needed; ability to work across IR workflows and maintain professional communication with the team.
