Branch Manager

Position Summary The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all branch operations, driving sales and customer-service performance, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role oversees daily activities, develops team members, builds relationships in the local community, and ensures the branch meets operational and financial goals.

- Manage the branch's day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, inventory, facilities, and customer service.
- Lead, coach, train, and evaluate branch employees to support strong performance and professional development.
- Set and monitor branch sales, service, productivity, and profitability goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, local businesses, and community partners.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security standards, internal controls, and relevant laws or regulations.
- Review operational reports, sales results, staffing needs, and financial performance; identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain qualified team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate company initiatives, goals, and updates.
- Promote products and services that meet customer needs while maintaining ethical sales practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming branch environment.
- Prepare and submit required reports, documentation, and performance updates to regional leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
- 3-5 years of relevant customer service, sales, operations, retail, banking, or branch-management experience.
- Prior supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales, service, operational, and financial targets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant customer relationship management or branch-management systems.
- Knowledge of applicable compliance, safety, cash-handling, or security requirements, depending on the industry.
