Our employees are not only part of history, but they’re also making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for Program Manager 2 to provide leadership as an Operations Manager to facilitate the day-to-day operations within the MTC Program in Aurora, Colorado.The Operations Manager also provides support to leadership to enable business execution excellence, including continuous planning, goals tracking, organizational and program risk identification & mitigation and the appropriate development, dissemination and deployment of policy, the advancement of engineering practices and application of effective processes. The candidate selected for this position would be involved in program execution, cost, schedule, staffing, team building, customer satisfaction, compliance with organizational processes and procedures, maintaining relationship with and keeping program leadership and Government customer appraised of program status.Job Responsibilities:Execute day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring efficient and timely implementation of all aspects of the mission.Interface between Program Leadership, PMO, and IPTs in support of program objectives, customer expectations, and schedule.Owner of the Systems Engineering and Program Management (SEPM) control account, managing budget and expenditures for leadership labor, material, and travel.Manage program logistics and facilities across all program sites, ensuring adequate resources and spaces are available to accomplish the mission.Collaborate with program site leadership across all program locations to ensure open communications and unity of effort.Manage special projects as dictated by the Program Manager.Operate in a team environment and collaborate across the organization as required to accomplish the team goals.Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years, or master’s degree and 8 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or program management in other industriesActive Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access at time of applicationExperience with customer and stakeholder relationship managementProven presentation/briefing development experienceOrganization and execution of tasks and projects experienceProblem solving skills of technical, organizational, and personnel issuesPreferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of the Navy and Marine Corps, their elements and associated tactical systems.Experience delivering products and services on Marine and Navy programs in accordance with quality and technical integrity standards.Understanding strategic vision for best utilization of JIRA to manage team’s effort to include tracking metrics and performance.Track record as an effective collaborator, communicator and problem solver who can develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Experience developing capabilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities.Understanding of software technologies, software principles, and systems engineering, particularly an understanding of agile software modernization strategies. Experience building a high performing team and facilitating conflict resolution within the team.Primary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
