Structured Finance Associate

The Role Associate, Structured Finance The Mission You will play a critical role within the structured finance team, with key pillars of your role including engaging and negotiating with diverse capital providers, managing and owning financial modeling, and conducting transaction due diligence. As an elite project manager of finance, you will shepherd deals for financial close, ensuring they are on schedule and budget. Your Responsibilities (not limited to) Quarterback deal execution, maintaining project timelines, evaluating key risks, communicating with key stakeholders, and leading cross‑functional team meetings for your assigned projects Analyze project investment opportunities through critical evaluation criteria Own all aspects of financial modeling for project finance transactions Work closely with corporate finance functions to evaluate and execute corporate finance and project M&As Create and present key presentations and other materials for use with key stakeholders, financiers, and executive leadership for decision‑making An ideal candidate has/is 3+ years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or corporate mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on renewable energy transactions (understanding tax equity is a plus) BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or other quantitative areas of study; MBAs are welcome Strong financial modeling and valuation experience Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills Takes pride in their attention to detail and organizational/project management skills; the ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities is key A strong desire to be a part of a dynamic and highly motivated team and contribute value throughout their tenure #J-18808-Ljbffr Ellement Group
