Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety during every procedure, providing clear explanations and compassionate care.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it operates at peak performance and reporting any issues without delay.
  • Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic medical systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices to ensure premier patient care.
Education and Certification Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred.
Required Certifications
  • Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
