Job Description

• Develop Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and create tailored therapy approaches that guide them toward functional achievements
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Foster partnerships with OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing teams to ensure thorough and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instruction to patients and families on therapy techniques to promote continuous progress at home
• Document Patient Progress: Monitor and track clinical outcomes, making necessary adjustments to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications are available

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification needed
