About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Origination to lead corporate outreach and origination efforts for its development and operating assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with potential and current corporate counterparties on a national and regional basis. This role requires a professional with a proven ability to transact upon corporate relationships, provide feedback on offtake products and strategies, and operate as a source of market intelligence. The Vice President, Origination will also be expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the company's development, M&A, and market expansion goals. Candidates for the Vice President, Origination position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in renewable offtake origination, particularly in organized ISO/RTO markets, is required. The role demands a high level of proficiency in MS Office, strong project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with federal, state, and regional laws and regulations governing renewable energy and have a background in product structuring, sales and trading, and asset optimization.
