Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Emergency Room RN - Watertown, NY

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• No on-call required

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions according to physician orders
• Recognize and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Assess patients' clinical, educational, psychosocial, and spiritual needs
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MEDITECH EMR
• May be required to function as Charge Nurse when needed
• Prioritize patient care needs and delegate responsibilities appropriately in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• MEDITECH EMR experience required
• Critical Care experience preferred
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required:
  
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
• Must be IV, medication administration, and phlebotomy competent

Pay Package(36hrs/week)

• Total Non-taxable Pay (weekly) $1,246
• Total Taxable Pay (weekly) $1,332
• Gross Total Pay (weekly) $2,578
