Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Salary: USD80000 - USD95000 per year A fast‑paced boutique litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal / Legal Assistant (Hybrid) to support approximately 12 attorneys. This role plays a hands‑on part in full‑cycle litigation, including upcoming trial, complex matters in state and federal courts, and all phases of the litigation lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail‑oriented, and can handle high‑level paralegal duties while working closely with attorneys on critical case work. Key Responsibilities Provide full‑cycle litigation support, including drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings from start to finish in state and federal courts. Manage discovery and eDiscovery processes using tools such as Relativity, including document review, production, Bates stamping, and redaction. Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs), assist with legal research, and ensure high‑quality document formatting using Microsoft Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint. Support deposition and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, assembling trial binders, and contributing to strategies for an upcoming trial. Maintain and track deadlines through calendaring systems (preferably Compulaw), ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. Communicate with courts, vendors, and internal teams while handling administrative tasks such as proofreading, correspondence, and file management to support overall litigation efforts.
