Overview

We’re partnering with a well-established provider of high-quality flooring and interior surface products to identify a Territory Sales Manager focused on the Retail Dealer channel. The territory will cover major markets throughout North and South Carolina , with Charlotte, NC serving as the ideal home base for the role.

This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who takes ownership of their territory, understands how to grow a book of business, and values long-term partnerships over transactional selling. The right person is already successful, knows how to navigate a competitive market, and is motivated to build something meaningful within their territory.

• Manage and grow a defined territory across North and South Carolina within the retail dealer channel

• Develop and execute a plan to increase market share and drive revenue growth

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key decision-makers

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory

• Prioritize and grow high-value accounts while expanding overall reach

• Position yourself as a trusted partner, not just a vendor

• Maintain consistent market presence through networking, referrals, and customer engagement

• Take full ownership of territory performance and results

• Proven sales professional with a track record of consistent success

• Strong relationship-builder with a consultative sales approach

• Self-starter who takes initiative and operates independently

• Ability to clearly communicate strategy, pipeline, and account priorities

• Someone who thrives in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment

• 7–10+ years of experience in flooring, surfaces, or related building materials

• Experience calling on retail dealers strongly preferred

• Demonstrated success managing and growing a territory

• Established relationships within the Carolinas is a plus

• History of strong sales performance (multi-million dollar territory preferred)

Compensation

• Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure

Vehicle & Expenses

• $600 monthly car allowance (paid monthly; prorated at start/end of employment)

• Company credit card for business-related expenses (travel, gas, tolls, client entertainment, etc.)

• Expenses submitted monthly through Expensify with receipts
