Plant Operator - Expression of Interest

Job Overview Blue River Dairy is a producer of infant formulas using milk from sheep, goat, and cow. The plant processes dry blends of powders and nutrients into finished infant formula for canning. Responsibilities Work closely with team members to support a diverse, cross‐national workforce. Communicate clearly and listen effectively to supervisors and leaders. Follow SOPs and quality procedures, read and understand them, and complete a quiz to confirm understanding. Maintain high personal hygiene and wear required PPE, including lab coat, safety boots, hairnet, gloves, and hearing protection. Participate in scheduled plant clean‐and‐sanitize cycles, ensuring strict hygiene protocols are met during full‐shift assemblies. Be reliable, work assigned shifts, and consistently strive for high quality and safety. Working Hours and Shifts The plant operates Monday to Friday, 4:00 am to 11:00 pm. Two shifts rotate weekly: Morning shift: 4:00‐5:00 am start, 1:15‐2:15 pm finish (91⁄4 h). Afternoon shift: 12:45‐1:45 pm start, 10:00‐11:00 pm finish (91⁄4 h). Additional Requirements Pre‐employment medical and drug/alcohol testing, including random retesting. Physical ability to lift 25 kg dry‐powder bags. Work in a temperature and humidity‐controlled environment; the plant is bright and clean. Commitment to a minimum two‐year tenure if selected. #J-18808-Ljbffr
