Step into a meaningful role providing essential support to preschool students as a contract Occupational Therapist for a short-term assignment. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by delivering evaluations and occupational therapy services in a nurturing educational environment from November 2 to December 4, with a break during Thanksgiving week. The assignment is set within a single Early Learning Center, minimizing travel and allowing you to focus fully on your students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting, particularly with preschool-aged students, is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEP-based interventions
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other service providers
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet the unique needs of young learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for preschool students as needed
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with teaching staff and family members to support student success in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings to share insights and recommendations
• Manage a caseload of approximately 23 preschool students located within one facility

This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.) and allows you to focus your expertise within one building and age group.
