Dialysis Patient Care Technician

SCHEDULE OVERVIEW:

Training takes place in Burlington, however post-training teammate will also cover shifts at other neighboring facilities (Marysville and Bellingham).

Earliest start time of shifts is 4am.

Latest possible end time of closing shifts is 11pm.

3-4 days/week and shifts are 8-12 hours long scheduled in advance,

Days and shifts will rotate, so teammate needs to be able to open and close.

SUPPORT STAFF: This is a small clinic that operates with 1 RN and 1-2 PCTs on shift at a time.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
