The Fontaine is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding financial and guest satisfaction results.

As Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in leading hotel operations, partnering with department leaders, and ensuring seamless execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other operational areas. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for service excellence and a proven ability to inspire teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.
What You'll Do

• Provide leadership and oversight for the hotel's day-to-day operations
• Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service standards throughout the property
• Partner with department leaders to achieve operational, financial, and service excellence goals
• Monitor and improve operational efficiencies while maintaining luxury service standards
• Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations
• Collaborate with the Executive Team on strategic initiatives, budgeting, and performance goals
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent hospitality leadership experience
• Minimum of 4 years of rooms management experience in a full-service hotel or resort environment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and operational performance
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with guests, team members, and ownership groups
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
