Job Details: Envision is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of providers at Medical City Dallas in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Overview: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in our Emergency Department. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric medical conditions and emergencies. Position Profile: Current licensure / Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred) 19 Pediatric ED Beds + 2 Triage Spaces 39,000 annual volume 9-hour shifts Meditech EMR Pediatric sub-specialties include cardiology, cardiac surgery, GI, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, surgery, urology, and plastic surgery Join a team of experienced PEM trained physicians and acute care, pediatric dedicated, advanced practice providers who are providing 24/7 PED coverage Facility Information: Medical City Children's Hospital is the flagship children's hospital of the large network of Medical City Hospitals. The hospital is a 254-bed, award-winning, pediatric healthcare facility, delivering specialized pediatric care. It boasts a 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit supported by a PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program. The emergency medicine group works alongside exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology and infectious disease. The site also operates a pediatric hematology-oncology program, in addition to a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services.
