Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. The role involves unpacking and inspecting goods, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Input data and utilize Excel sheets for record-keeping.
• Maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on the manufacturing line.
• Prepare kitting packages or conduct inventory counts as needed.
• Complete the put-away function of received goods.
• Label products according to customer requirements.
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack, if certified.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Proficient in data entry and Excel.
• Experience with forklift or pallet jack operation.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
• Ability to communicate and follow verbal and written directions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
