Expected hours: 40hr/Week
Job description:
Operate, monitor, and maintain Post-Prep/Chamfer equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and production standards.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, basic troubleshooting, and quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, production specifications, work instructions, and gauges to ensure accurate dimensions and product quality.
- Record production data, maintain inspection documentation, and promptly report equipment issues, quality defects, or safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures, including PPE requirements, lockout/tagout practices, machine guarding, and 5S housekeeping standards.
- Support production goals by working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
