TheSearchSpecialistwilljointheeCommerceOperationsandDigitalMarketingteam,focusingonoptimizingtheinternalsearchexperiencefortheclientsB2BpharmaceuticaleCommerceplatform.ReportingtotheSearchSupervisor,thisroleisresponsibleforimprovingproductdiscoverability,relevance,andconversionthroughdata-drivensearchoptimization.ThespecialistwillmanageandrefineCoveosearchrules,relevancemodels,andperformanceinsightstodeliverfast,accurate,andpersonalizedsearchresultsforB2Bcustomers.

EssentialDuties

• Optimizesearchrelevancerules,rankinglogic,andMLmodelswithintheenterprisesearchengine(Coveoorsimilar)toimprovesearchresultqualityanduserexperience.
• Analyzeinternalsearchdatatoidentifytrends,gaps,andactionableopportunitiesforoptimization.
• CollaboratewithProduct,UX,DataScience,Sales,Content,Merchandising,andMarketingteamstoalignandrefinesearchstrategies.
• Monitorandreportonsearchperformancemetricstoensurecontinuousimprovementofsearchexperience.
• SupportAI/ML-drivensearchtools,automationfeatures,andongoingplatformenhancements.
• Troubleshootsearchissuesandcoordinatewithtechnicalteamsfortimelyresolution.
• Assistinsearchtesting,QA,andvalidationduringnewfeaturereleasesandsystemupdates.
• Documentsearchgovernanceprocesses,operationalworkflows,andbestpractices.
• Communicateinsights,findings,andrecommendationstobothtechnicalandnon-technicalstakeholders.
• Ensuresearchoptimizationeffortsarestrictlyfocusedoninternalplatformsearch(notexternalSEO/paidsearchorAIchatbotvisibility).

Qualifications:

• 25 years of experience in search relevance management for B2B or B2C eCommerce platforms
• Experience with enterprise search tools such as Coveo, Endeca, SOLR, Reflektion, or Sitecore preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret search data and translate insights into actionable improvements
• Experience working with product discovery, merchandising, or eCommerce optimization is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional technical and business teams
