If you are seeking a new opportunity, our experienced recruiters are here to assist.Description:We are seeking a Oracle Developer with a diverse technical skill set, including experience in PL/SQL, C#, jQuery, MVC, and project management tools like Innotas. This contract position involves working on New York State Workers Compensation Insurance systems, including maintenance, support, and the processing of indemnity payments. Key Responsibilities: Oracle Development:Develop and maintain Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, triggers, and stored procedures to support Workers Compensation Insurance applications.Perform Oracle SQL tuning to improve query performance and system efficiency.Web & Application Development:Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications using C# and Microsoft MVC frameworks.Implement front-end functionalities using jQuery for rich user interfaces.Project Management & Collaboration:Utilize Innotas for project portfolio management, tracking project timelines, progress, and resource allocation.Work with the team to integrate project requirements into development and support plans.End-User Support:Provide ongoing maintenance and end-user support to ensure smooth processing of indemnity payments in compliance with New York State regulations.Address any issues raised by users and ensure that necessary fixes or enhancements are implemented.Required Qualifications: Experience:6 months experience working with New York State Workers Compensation Insurance, specifically processing indemnity payments.60 months (5 years) experience in Oracle development, including PL/SQL (Triggers, Packages, etc.).36 months (3 years) experience in Oracle SQL tuning to enhance performance.72 months (6 years) experience in C# development, with practical knowledge of modern frameworks.12 months (1 year) experience in jQuery development for dynamic web interfaces.12 months (1 year) experience in Microsoft MVC development.6 months experience with Innotas project portfolio management for tracking and reporting project progress.6 months experience with Asysco framework for application modernization.Technical Skills:Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, C#, jQuery, MVC, and Innotas.Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or newer versions for software development.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with project portfolio management frameworks and tools beyond Innotas.Experience in Workers Compensation Insurance or other regulatory compliance domains is a plus.Why Work with Acrostaff ?
