PartTime Childcare Driver

Benefits 401(k) matching Paid time off Training & development Part-Time Childcare Driver (Split Shift) Schedule Monday–Friday Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Split shift with a break between morning and afternoon routes. Part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week). Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from local schools and approved destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Ensure all children are properly seated and following transportation safety procedures. Maintain active supervision and accurate headcounts during loading, unloading, and transportation. Assist children safely entering and exiting the vehicle. Keep the transportation vehicle clean and in good working condition. Communicate professionally with families, school personnel, and center staff. Follow all childcare licensing regulations, center policies, and traffic laws. Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance. Assist with light classroom or center duties between transportation routes as needed. Qualifications Must be at least 25 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience transporting children is preferred but not required. Experience working in a licensed childcare setting is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist children entering and exiting the vehicle. License & Certification Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as required by state childcare licensing. Must meet all licensing requirements to work in a licensed childcare center. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must complete all required state childcare orientation and annual training requirements. Must successfully pass any required driving or transportation screenings.
