Safety Coordinator

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time construction Safety Coordinator in Suffolk, VA. Job Summary Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings Conducts jobsite safety orientations Assists in safety training as necessary Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures Travel may be required.
