Upholstery Associate

Summary Upholstery Associate based at a Los Angeles manufacturing location responsible for producing high-quality upholstery pieces. The role requires technical expertise in upholstery techniques, hand and power tool use, and a commitment to craftsmanship. The associate will work collaboratively within the upholstery team to meet production standards and timelines. Responsibilities Review and follow purchase orders and provide timely progress updates to support workflow efficiency Apply upholstery techniques and production standards to assemble and finish pieces with precision Use hand tools and equipment, including staple guns, webbing stretchers, hammers, scissors, and select power tools Safely handle wood frames and materials, using assistance when appropriate for heavy or awkward items Perform hand‑sewing, specialty projects, and other tasks as needed to support the upholstery team Requirements 3+ years of upholstery experience in a production, workshop, or design environment Proficiency in cutting, sewing, webbing, padding, and finishing techniques Strong time management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision Ability to frequently lift over 75 pounds and perform sustained physical tasks; consistent attendance and punctuality #J-18808-Ljbffr Brobston Group LLC
