Administrative Assistant / Accounting Clerk

Seattle Search Group is partnering with an established, family-owned landscaping services company in Kent, WA, to hire a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounting Clerk for a temporary assignment lasting at least four weeks.

This position will provide daily administrative, clerical, and light accounting support in a busy office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to assist with a variety of office responsibilities.

Administrative & Clerical Support

• Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and assist customers and vendors.
• Provide general administrative support to office staff and management.
• Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
• Maintain office supplies, inventory records, and organized filing systems.
• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office coordination.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records.
• Support miscellaneous office projects and daily administrative activities.

Light Accounting Support

• Enter invoices, bills, and financial transactions into QuickBooks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry.
• Help prepare customer invoices and maintain billing records.
• Track payments, receipts, and outstanding invoices.
• Organize vendor invoices and supporting financial documentation.
• Assist with basic reconciliations and general accounting recordkeeping.

• Previous administrative, clerical, or accounting support experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.
• Basic understanding of invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable in a busy office environment.
• Previous landscaping, construction, or service industry experience is a plus.

This is a full-time temporary position expected to last a minimum of four weeks, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Candidates should be available to work 40 hours per week and be comfortable handling both administrative responsibilities and basic accounting tasks.
