Customer Service Coordinator
The Customer Service Coordinator provides high-level support by responding to inquiries about products and services, resolving complex day-to-day and escalated issues, and ensuring accurate handling of administrative and facilities-related requests. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client service through efficient call handling, precise data entry, and effective coordination of work orders and access-related processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound phone calls and respond promptly and professionally to inquiries about products, services, and general requests.
- Provide high-level information and resolve complex day-to-day and escalated issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Perform data entry and update records to maintain accurate and current information in internal systems.
- Create, manage, and track work orders, ensuring they are routed, scheduled, and coordinated appropriately.
- Process employee badges and access requests, ensuring proper authorization and accurate documentation.
- Handle parking reservations, including scheduling, tracking, and confirming arrangements.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks such as routing requests, scheduling activities, and coordinating work orders and related services.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and efficient issue resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall client and contract management activities.
Essential Skills
- At least 2+ years of experience in customer service or client support roles.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and escalations professionally.
- Proficiency in basic computer functions and the ability to work with standard office software.
- Experience performing administrative and clerical support tasks, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks such as work orders, access requests, and reservations simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when processing information and updating records.
- High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a client and contract management environment.
- Experience in handling facilities-related tasks such as work orders, access control, and parking coordination.
- Comfort working in a structured environment with defined processes and procedures.
- Ability to participate in and successfully complete a phone and in-person interview process.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in San Antonio, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role involves working in an office environment using standard computer equipment and basic office software to perform data entry, manage work orders, and handle administrative tasks. You will interact regularly with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders by phone and in person, supporting a professional, service-oriented atmosphere. The assignment is initially planned for approximately six months to provide coverage for an employee on leave, with the possibility of extension to be determined. Dress is expected to be appropriate for a professional office setting.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
