Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Unit Secretary to support our clinical team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You'll Do Serving as the primary communication point for the nursing unit Managing phone calls, messages, and coordination of information Supporting clinical and administrative staff with clerical tasks Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation flow Coordinating unit activities with other departments Assisting with general office and administrative support duties Promoting smooth workflow in a fast-paced clinical setting Schedule Full-time Day shifts 80 hours per pay period What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required At least 1 year of clerical or secretarial experience preferred (healthcare setting preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented and dependable work style Why Join Gateway?
