Home Care Day (Morning) PT Caregivers/Companions Join to apply for the Home Care Day (Morning) PT Caregivers/Companions role at Live Long Well Care, LLC - In-Home Care . Live Long Well Care is now accepting applications for Part‑time Day (Morning) CNA/Caregiver/Home Health Aide/Companion positions. Day, night, and weekend positions are available. CNA certification is not required but can be a plus and will be paid a premium. Candidates must be able to work some weekends, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be able to commute to client locations within a 30‑mile radius of the branch address. Applicants must also have an up‑to‑date smartphone (Android or iPhone) for electronic time and attendance, care tasks, and communication. If you are interested, please apply through the following URL: Position Summary This position reports to the CSM (Client Services Manager) and/or designated supervisor in accordance with Company policy and regulatory requirements. It is synonymous with the roles of Companion, Housekeeper, Homemaker, and Chore Worker. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Is knowledgeable of, interprets, and supports the philosophy, purpose, mission, goals, policies, and standards of the organization. Represents the company in a positive manner while fostering respect and courtesy for clients and other employees alike. Works within company programs to promote safety and the well‑being of all clients and employees. Provides general assistance and care to patient/clients in accordance with the non‑personal care plan. Plans meals, purchases food and household supplies, and prepares and serves nutritious meals in accordance with the non‑personal care plan. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the patient/client and family. Performs housekeeping activities such as washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen after meals, laundering clothes and bed linens, and other routine tasks on a daily or weekly basis. Provides companionship for the patient/client as required. Reminds clients to take prescribed medication. Performs other duties, such as transportation of independent patients/clients, when directed by the supervisor. Accurately and thoroughly documents services provided and submits them in a timely manner. Immediately reports any changes in client’s needs, condition, or incidents to the supervisor promptly. Establishes and maintains effective communication and a professional relationship with clients/families and coworkers during case conferences as appropriate. Maintains and enhances skills through attendance at appropriate staff development programs. Presents a professional appearance in compliance with agency dress code. Completes assignments with reliability and punctuality. Maintains a cooperative manner toward patient/client/family members of the healthcare team. Listens and responds to client needs in a sensitive and timely manner, either through initiative or by referral to the supervisor. Assists the supervisor by providing feedback regarding updates to the non‑personal care plan. Professional Conduct & Development Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as assigned and communicates information that enables root‑cause analysis of data for improvement. Attends and participates in internal staff development programs and obtains continuing education as required by company policy and regulation. Maintains and enhances clinical practice skills. Performs other duties as assigned in response to client, office, or facility needs. Maintains strict confidentiality of patient and employee information. Maintains strict confidentiality of agency proprietary and business information. Other Duties and Responsibilities Reports for work on time and prepared to assume duties. Adheres to company dress code. Records work accurately and legibly. Follows policy for reporting sickness or absence. Schedules all time off with supervisory approval. Varies work schedules to meet agency needs. Adheres to company policy, procedure, and processes. Responds to internal and external customers in a professional and friendly manner. Offers assistance as needed or directs the individual to appropriate resources with proper follow‑through. Wears ID badge in a visible location, if required. Complies in a timely manner with all requirements related to risk management, safety, infection control, TB screening, security, and fire, as appropriate. Provides a safe environment for clients, employees, and others. Assumes responsibility for all mandatory in‑services, certifications, licensure, and competencies. Prerequisites High school graduation or GED required. The candidate must have successfully completed a training program if required by regulation or contract. Direct Previous Experience Two years’ experience in a similar position desired. Two years’ experience working with the elderly desired. Skills and Competencies Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Ability to work with minimal or close supervision. Conducts all business with a professional manner and a high level of confidentiality. Must pass competency testing on hire and ongoing for basics of meal preparation, housekeeping, infection control, safety in the home, proper handling of emergencies, transportation, dog walking and care. Other Qualifications Must have an updated Android or iPhone smartphone device (see Aide visit/documentation requirements). Current listing with no substantial finding on state Aide Registry, as state appropriate, if applicable. Abilities Work indoors for the majority of the work day with typical indoor conditions. Provide a reliable means of transportation as required. Possess the physical ability to perform job‑related duties that may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing, pulling, and providing partial or complete assistance with non‑personal activities of daily living without assistance from another worker or significant other. Ability to work in time‑sensitive or stressful situations. Sit in a chair or stand for extended periods. Travel Ability to commute to various client locations throughout the work day and week. Eligibility to drive on company business and a satisfactory driving record required. Working Conditions 50–90% of work is performed in a client’s home. Position may involve exposure to malodorous, infectious, body fluids and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleaning/disinfectant agents. Benefits Flexible hours.
