Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting 13-week assignment in Auburn, NY. This travel position focuses on providing expert care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, where the ability to manage dysrhythmias and critically ill patients is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products
• Manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs
• Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients
• Care for ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions
• Perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
• If no NY license, must have already applied and provide application date
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience
• 2 years of recent ER experience required
• No disciplinary issues on nursing license
