The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.Eligible to receive a signing bonus of up to $5,000Evergreen Radia is looking for a PSR II (Patient Service Representative II) to join our team. We are an outpatient imaging center, open Monday – Saturday, located in downtown Kirkland, Washington. Benefits are available with eligible FTE status; employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate.2 Medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, life and LTDHSA and FSA availableA 401(k)-employer match, with a profit-sharing componentUp to 21 paid days off per year8 paid holidays annuallyLife and disability insuranceLearning opportunities through professional development programsEducational AssistanceDiscretionary mid-year performance based increasePosition Summary:Accurately schedules all imaging modalities, including complex exams, and obtains clinical information from referring providers when needed.Welcomes patients and visitors, provides directions, and creates a professional and inviting environment.Delivers excellent customer service, resolves concerns, and escalates issues to the Supervisor or Manager when appropriate.Verifies insurance coverage, authorization requirements, billing information, and applicable payer rules.Assists patients with registration and check-in accurately and professionally.Communicates insurance and authorization updates to patients and other internal and external customers.Identifies operational concerns, recommends solutions, and serves as a resource for PSR staff when leadership is unavailable.Maintains accurate patient records and documentation while following quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Promotes teamwork by building respectful working relationships, supporting training, and demonstrating leadership.Monitors office supplies, verifies deliveries, secures bank deposits, and completes required cash reconciliations.Qualifications and Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2-3 year in a customer service-oriented environment requiredMinimum of 2-3-year medical office experience preferredKnowledge of medical insurance requiredMust be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same timeDemonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactionsCOVID Requirements:To protect physicians, employees, and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions.
