Manual Machinist (98682)

DS Fab & Machine Works Inc. in Washougal, WA is looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes, mills, and other conventional machine tools to produce precision parts and components. What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other conventional machine tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Machine parts and components to precise tolerances
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part accuracy
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues on the shop floor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision machining skills
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
