What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized neonatal care within a Level II nursery setting
• Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to ensure family-centered, high-quality care for newborns
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects
• Support a team-based approach to neonatal healthcare
• Engage in continuing education and knowledge exchange within Pediatrix's extensive network of NICUs
• Contribute to expanding nursery services and protocols

What You Need:

• Board Certified Neonatologist (required)
• Valid medical license for Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years neonatal care experience (preferred)
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

About the Assignment:

This position is based at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, a reputable community hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. The NICU is a 6-bed Level II special care nursery, equipped and staffed to provide family-centered neonatal care.
