HRIS Specialist

We are looking for an HRIS Specialist to support daily HR systems operations for a retail organization in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This long-term contract position focuses on resolving system-related inquiries, maintaining accurate employee data, and helping ensure dependable support across HR technology platforms. The ideal candidate is organized, service-minded, and comfortable working through a steady volume of requests while collaborating with cross-functional partners.Here’s how you’ll contribute each day: • Oversee incoming HR systems requests by addressing escalated tickets, shared inbox items, and questions from employees and managers with timely and attentive support.• Investigate and resolve functional issues tied to Workday and timekeeping tools, using sound judgment to determine when additional escalation is needed.• Process recurring system updates and employee data changes with a high level of accuracy and attention to deadlines.• Track assigned cases, organize competing priorities, record outcomes clearly, and follow through to ensure issues are fully addressed.• Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and related teams to resolve more involved system challenges and support operational continuity.• Review data for accuracy through audits, validations, and quality checks to help maintain reliable HR system records.• Contribute to test activities for system updates and help keep reference materials, process notes, and user aids current.• Recognize patterns in support requests and share observations that may improve workflows, service quality, or system performance.• Handle employee and organizational information with discretion and in alignment with confidentiality expectations.
