You'll be involved in the entire product development process – from early research and visioning to adjusting pixels to launching.You'll define and refine our design system, as well as influence team culture and how we work cross-functionally together. For office-based employees (employees who live within a defined radius of a Secureframe office), Secureframe considers working in the office, approximately 30% of the time under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your dependent(s)Flexible PTO401(k)Paid family leaveGround floor opportunity as an early member of the teamWhat you'll doDesigning end-to-end workflows across Secureframe’s core product areas, including audits, compliance readiness, frameworks, controls, and federal compliance experiences Owning design from early problem framing and UX exploration through high-fidelity UI and engineering handoffPartnering closely with Product Managers to clarify requirements, scope solutions, and make thoughtful UX tradeoffs in complex, regulated problem spacesCollaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented with high qualityContributing to and evolving Secureframe’s design system (Castle) to improve consistency and speed across teamsReviewing designs and providing feedback to raise the overall design bar across the productParticipating in user research, usability testing, and customer feedback reviews to inform design decisionsIterating quickly based on stakeholder feedback, technical constraints, and real customer usageWho we're looking forStrong end-to-end product design experience, from discovery and UX exploration through high-fidelity UI and engineering handoffProven ability to design complex B2B SaaS workflows, especially in regulated, enterprise, or technical domainsExcellent systems thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to design scalable, consistent experiences across large product surfacesStrong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers, including comfort navigating ambiguity and tradeoffsAbility to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersFluency in modern design tools (Figma) and experience working within and contributing to a design systemExperience thoughtfully using AI as part of the design process, such as for rapid exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or improving design velocity and decision-makingComfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements and limited process overheadHigh ownership mindset, with the ability to independently drive work forward and follow through to shipped outcomesExperience designing for Security, Compliance, Audit, or other highly regulated domainsExposure to federal compliance workflows (CMMC, FedRAMP, GovCloud, or similar)Background in Enterprise admin tools, Internal tools, or complex permissions-based systemsExperience mentoring other Designers or acting as a Design lead on cross-functional initiatives$140,000 - $220,000 a yearThe annual compensation range for this role is listed below.For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.Secureframe is an equal opportunity employer.
