Job Title Nocturnist - Hospital Medicine – Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Location Houston, TX Department Summary Baylor College of Medicine is one of the nation’s premier academic health science centers, located in the Texas Medical Center. The Section of General Internal Medicine serves inpatient and outpatient patients through interdisciplinary teams at Baylor St. Luke’s CHI Hospitals and affiliated sites. Summary Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) seeks full‑time Nocturnists to provide Hospital Medicine services at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital. Candidates should be patient‑centered, board certified or board‑eligible in Internal or Family Medicine, and committed to delivering quality inpatient care. Job Duties Provide direct inpatient medical care on a 7 on/14 off block schedule. Participate in team meetings and develop appropriate order sets and procedures. Contribute to quality improvement and research projects; collaborate nationally with leaders in the field. Maintain required licenses and certifications; renew as needed. Complete all documentation promptly to support billing and administrative processes. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
